We
offer a large variety of mixed-media contemporary accessories.
We
make much of our own hand crafed semi-precious stone and glass jewelry
while also stocking others from other around the world. Our silver
jewelry is sourced regionally.
Our
glass jewelry is made using two
broad techniques – fusing and flameworking.
In
fusing, pieces of glass are layered on top of each other and fired
in a kiln at high temperatures so they melt and 'fuse' into one
piece. An unlimited range of textures and colours can be achieved
by using a variety of compatible glass with metallic coatings (dichroic
glass), gold, silver and copper leaf, mica, enamels and a range
of other media.
Flameworking
is done by heating rods/tubes of glass in a flame to make beads
and other sculptural elements.
Our
range includes pendants, rings, necklaces, bracelets and cufflinks.
